Who da ever thought I would be showing someone how to do computer stuff!

I have been having trouble getting Blogger to upload photo's since last night and am stuck in the middle of a post so I thought I would come here before I try again.

Step one, Open a new browser window and go to your blog so you can read this while you follow the steps.

1. Click on the Blogger icon top left to open the Dashboard. This is all the controls to do your blog.

2. Click on the green arrow under new posts

3. Above the blank title box click Edit Posts. This will bring up all your posts, two so far.

4. Click the Edit button on the one you want to add text to.

5. On the top right of the post box click the compose button. This will show the picture as a picture and not html code letters.

6. Type in the text where and how you want it.

7. Click the preview button. This will show how it will look. If you like it hit Publish, if you don't click the Hide Preview and go back and work on it some more until you do and then publish it.

I highly recommend playing with all the control buttons on the Dashboard and the Create Posts page so you can see what function they perform. This can be done just as exploration and you don't need to think a post has to be generated from this exercise.

Now back to my own blog to see if I can upload pictures again. Some times the system just doesn't want to do right, but hey it's free.

Thanks so much Christopher. Now I'm positive I couldn't even have gotten this far without those instructions. I still want to rearrange things a bit -- actually, a lot -- and customize it as well, but I struggled so much just to get this little bit done, that I'd better take a break before I try to do any more.

Can you offer me some suggestions for polishing it up? That's probably asking a lot, since I think it already needs a complete overhaul, but since you already have a lot of experience with it, I'm thinking you might be able to help me renovate it.
