Faith, by definition, is belief without proof -- therefore it must always be blind

Tori Amos performing "God"
God, sometimes you just don't come through
God, sometimes you just don't come through
Do you need a woman to look after you?
God, sometimes you just don't come through
You make pretty daisies, pretty daisies love
I gotta find what you're doing about things here
A few witches burning gets a little toasty here
I gotta find
Why you always go
When the wind blows
God, sometimes you just don't come through
God, sometimes you just don't come through
Do you need a woman to look after you?
God, sometimes you just don't come through
Tell me you're crazy maybe then I'll understand
You got your 9 iron in the back seat just in case
I heard you've gone south
Well, baby, you love your new 4 wheel
I gotta find
Why you always go
When the wind blows
Will you even tell her
If you decide to make the sky fall?
Will you even tell her
If you decide to make the sky fall?
God, sometimes you just don't come through
God, sometimes you just don't come through
Do you need a woman to look after you?
God, sometimes you just don't come through
The Carpenters - "Superstar"
Long ago and oh so far away
I fell in love with you before the second show
Your guitar, it sounds so sweet and clear
But you're not really here
It's just the radio
Don't you remember you told me you loved me baby?
Said you'd be coming back this way again baby
Baby, baby, baby, baby, oh, baby, I love you I really do
Loneliness is a such a sad affair
And I can hardly wait to be with you again
What to say to make you come again
Come back to me again
And play your sad guitar
Don't you remember you told me you loved me baby?
Said you'd be coming back this way again baby
Baby, baby, baby, baby, oh, baby, I love you I really do
Jesus Christ Superstar - "Everything's All Right"
(Mary Magdalene)
Try not to get worried
Try not to turn on to
Problems that upset you
Don't you know
Everything's all right
Yes everything's fine
And we want you to sleep well tonight
Let the world turn without you tonight
If we try
We'll get by
So forget all about us tonight
(Apostles' Women)
Everything's all right
Yes everything's all right yes
(Mary Magdalene)
Sleep and I shall soothe you
Calm you and anoint you
Myrrh for your hot forehead
(oh) Then you'll feel
Everything's all right
Yes everything's fine
And it's cool and the ointment's sweet
For the fire in your head and feet
Close your eyes
Close your eyes
And relax
Think of nothing tonight
(Apostles' Women)
Everything's all right
Yes everything's all right yes
(Judas)
Woman your fine ointment
Brand new and expensive
Should have been saved for the poor
Why has it been wasted?
We could have raised maybe
Three hundred silver pieces or more
People who are hungry
People who are starving
Matter more
Than your feet and hair
(Mary Magdalene)
Try not to get worried
Try not to turn on to
Problems that upset you
Don't you know
Everything's all right
Yes everything's all right yes
(Jesus)
Surely you're not saying
We have the resources
To save the poor from their lot?
There will be poor always
Pathetically struggling
Look at the good things you've got!
Think while you still have me
Move while you still see me
You'll be lost
You'll be so sorry
When I'm gone
(Mary Magdalene)
Sleep and I shall soothe you
Calm you and anoint you
Myrrh for your hot forehead
(oh) then you'll feel
Everything's alright
Yes everything's fine
And it's cool and the ointment's sweet
For the fire in your head and feet
Close your eyes
Close your eyes
And relax
Think of nothing tonight
(Apostles' Women)
Close your eyes
Close your eyes
And relax
Think of nothing
Close your eyes
Close your eyes
And relax
Close your eyes
Close your eyes
And relax
(Apostles' Women)
Everything's all right
Yes everything's all right yes

Christin, when you discovered how to add the YouTubes it apparently unleashed something long suppressed from within you!
I've been dipping in and out of this array of sound, and also want to say how much I appreciate the lyrics.
Annie
Yeah -- I know it, Annie. I have the same enthusiasm for bands and music that you guys have for gardening. It probably comes from having grown up in a house filled with musical instruments. My Dad made his living as a professional musician -- he played guitar, bass, piano, keyboard, and all the brass instruments. He played the piano at home a lot, and I remember many times when I was little seeing him sitting in front of my youngest brothers' cradles playing the guitar softly for them to lull them to sleep. My Mom told us he did that for all of us kids (five of us) when we were infants, but of course I was too young to remember it.
Right now, I'm watching New Hampshire public television (we get two different PBS channels here) -- they're rebroadcasting a Pink Floyd concert that was held in Australia. I love so many bands that I would've posted hundreds of videos if I didn't make an effort to restrain myself. I decided to keep mostly the more mainstream videos I like, 'cause I was afraid that having too many hard rock or heavy metal videos would scare off visitors.
